Senior Estimator – Remedial Construction

We are partnering with a highly regarded construction business that has built a strong reputation delivering complex remedial and upgrade projects across Sydney.

Known for their technical expertise, repeat client base, and consistent project pipeline, this business is continuing to grow and is now looking to bring in a Senior Estimator as a key part of their commercial team.

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone confident running tenders end-to-end, while also taking on a leadership role mentoring junior estimators and cadets.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the estimating function, working closely with directors and project teams to secure profitable work and support ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full tender lifecycle from initial enquiry through to submission
  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates across remedial projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Identify risks and opportunities to protect and maximise margin
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior estimators and cadets
  • Contribute to broader commercial strategies and process improvements

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction estimating
  • Remedial experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to independently deliver tenders from start to finish
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Leadership capability with a genuine interest in developing others
